How to install a green fence yourself.

To install an artificial decorative green fence on your own, you need to understand that at least you will need a minimum set of tools for the work and a certain amount of time and effort. The fence canvas has a weight of 2.7 kg per m2 and a fairly movable frame, since this is essentially a chain-link mesh, therefore, as a separate structure, if you simply attach it to the poles, it will not be reliable, it must be mounted on a prepared pipe frame or hung on a ready-made fence made of 3D mesh, brick, block, euro fence or something else. And so in order:

1. Concreting of pillars. Pillars for such a fence are suitable for a minimum section of a profile pipe of 60 * 60 mm, a round pipe with a diameter of 50 mm or more, the distance between them will be best 2 or 2.5 meters, three meters is already a lot and there may be windage. A pit for concreting should be dug to a depth of 900 - 1000 mm, not less than 800 mm, otherwise in a cold winter all the pillars due to expired moisture under the very bottom of the concrete can squeeze (heaving) the pillar out of the ground, it turns out you need to concrete below the freezing point. First of all, you need to set up the pillars at the corners of the fenced area, one at the beginning, the second at the end, a twine is pulled between them at the top point and then all the other pillars are set and aligned in height and center distance between them.

2. In order for the fence to be more reliable and keep its shape, it is necessary to fix the guides - logs between the two pillars. A couple of pieces will be enough, but if there are financial possibilities, you can fix three horizontally. They are usually fastened for welding, but we have special logs with an L-shaped corner, which allow the guide to be attached using self-tapping screws or bolts. Rigidity between the pillars can be made in another form, for example, in the form of a frame around the perimeter of a metal corner or the same pipe, you can stretch the wire horizontally.

3. Fixing the green fence to the base. After the logs are fixed to the poles, it is the turn of hanging the canvas from ornamental grass or needles. The mesh is screwed to the post in four or five places with plastic clamps with puffs, wire or, for reliability, metal clamps with bolts, you can weld bars of not much length from 70 mm and a thickness of 5-8 mm, then hang the mesh on them, and bend the rods (anti-vandal fastening) in the same way to fasten to horizontal lags. So that the fasteners are not visible at all, we recommend using the wire from the roll itself for the screed.
